HELLO.

Alex Wilhelm is doing an incredible thing in Richmond, VA. I’ve never seen anything take off with the momentum that Stay Sweet has. It’s only in its second year, and the dude is already pulling some of (what I think are) some bigger Fest bands.

I’m not sure what Alex’s plans are for the future, but with the way Richmond is laid out, this thing only has room to grow. I mean, the guy pulled bands from all over the east coast to a city not necessarily known for its music scene, and it worked. Give it 2-3 years and this thing is going to be fucking huge.

I know I’m a nerd about my friends’ bands, but I seriously can’t get these songs out of my head. This record makes me feel like I did when I first heard Merit by the Progress when I was 15 years old. 

When this album drops, pay attention.

• I sobered up. 
• I went home and watched Motion City Soundtrack videos on youtube for half an hour.

I have no idea why this isn’t every single day.
